With the GIZ Global Programme Food and Nutrition Security, Enhanced Resilience, Germany is making a significant contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (especially SDG 2 – „zero hunger“). The programme aims to sustainably improve the nutrition status and enhance the resilience of people – above all women and children. To achieve this, the Global Programme combines measures from different sectors, for example agriculture, health, social protection and WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene).
